Reading is a fundamental and essential skill for all students. Academic success in every subject is dependent upon the student's ability to read at the appropriate grade level. Struggling in reading has a negative effect throughout all content areas.

They will focus on all reading /language arts components including phonemic awareness, comprehension, creative writing skills, handwriting and spelling. Older students will receive instruction on more comprehensive skills like the advanced writing process and will experience a variety of literary genres. Unlike other programs that overwhelm the student with rules, this organized and multisensory system is presented in a systematic and cumulative manner so that it is manageable. Students learn through straightforward, interactive learning that addresses the concepts that govern the structure of written English: including sight word instruction, fluency, vocabulary, oral expressive language development and comprehension.
